About Villa Lakshmi

Villa Lakshmi is located in San Pedro, on the outskirts of the capital city of San Jose. We are close to everything: banks, grocery stores, malls, movie theaters, restaurants, bus stops, taxis stands, and many private language schools. The International HumanRights Court, United Nations agencies, the Oscar Arias Foundation, the Children's Defense offices, and the University of Costa Rica are all within walking distance. The location is very safe, with an electric fence surrounding the property as well as two iron gates.

We provide a positive, friendly, and safe atmosphere which includes beautiful gardens, fountains, outdoor seating and parking spaces. There is high speed DSL wireless Internet (download/2 mg bytes, upload/ 556), and each room has cable TV connections (TV not included) and telephone connections. Two public phones, located inside the courtyard, may be used with calling cards, and a Vonage line is available for FREE calls to the US, Canada, and Puerto Rico. The Internet connection is fast enough to use Skype for all other International Calls.

Laundry and cleaning services are available for an additional cost. We rent only to professionals, students and long-term travelers. A 3 month minimum contract and a deposit of $440 are required. Villa Lakshmi is a Non-smoking complex, however there is a designated area for smokers outside; we also have a rule of peace and quiet between the hours of 10pm and 7am. We have a no-smoking no-parties’ policy. We have 2 cats in the garden and a yellow lab that visits, there is not space for any more pets.

Villalakshmil is designed especially for students, professors and travelers who want to enjoy their time in the city in a relaxing and beautiful environment.

Each unite includes the following:

  • One bedroom
  • Bathroom (with hot shower)
  • Kitchen/dining area
  • Living room area
